Most Christians live life no differently than their unsaved neighbours. They let what they watch and read conceive sin in their imaginations. Instead of allowing themselves to imagine God’s Word, they live vicariously through the characters they see in the movies.
They get sick when their neighbours get sick. They fear what their neighbours fear. They lie as often, they gossip as often, and they get angry as often as their neighbours.
Most Christians relate more to the world than they do to the things of God. They go to churches so dead that if someone called the ambulance, half the church would be taken out before they found the right body.
They think it’s prideful to envision themselves laying hands on the sick (see Mark 16:18) or living in prosperity and health (see 3 John 2).
